Vouliagmeni, 20km to the south-east of Athens, is the jewel in the crown of the Athenian Riviera.

Sitting just north of Vouliagmeni, in the direction of Athens, it’s a little further out from the local amenities compared to some of the others on our list.

However, it oozes cool and is only a stone’s throw from the Kavouri public beach, which has many seafood restaurants nearby.

Vouliagmeni is a stunning location offering wonderful accommodation options, close to the world-famous tourist sites in Athens, yet far removed from the chaotic and busy streets in the city centre.
