Hello there! I’m Elena Sergeeva, and I’m thrilled to share with you the wonders of my little slice of paradise, the Athenian Riviera. My journey began in the frost-kissed landscapes of Russia, but in 1992, a new chapter unfolded under the sun-drenched skies of Greece, all thanks to my father’s career in the shipping industry.
Growing up on the beautiful shores of the Athenian Riviera has been nothing short of magical. From my early days at St. Lawrence College, with a brief yet memorable stint at Campion in 6th grade, to honing my passion for hospitality at the Swiss Alpine Center, this place has been my constant backdrop, my inspiration.
I’ve spent over two decades in the hospitality industry, advancing from roles like Marketing Executive to Career and Placement Manager and later as a Destination Development Consultant, backed by a Swiss Diploma in Hotel Management and a Master’s Degree in International Hospitality and Tourism Leadership.
I’ve been recognized as a protégé in the field of health tourism. I’ve been invited to speak at health and tourism conferences in Athens and the Middle East and serve on the advisory board of my alma mater, the Swiss Alpine Center. I’m also a pioneer in digital media, having co-founded Greece’s first travel blogger network and managed multiple blogs focused on travel and hospitality.
