Varkiza Resort Beach

Previously known as ‘Yabanaki,’ the Varkiza Beach Resort is under new ownership and is currently in the initial stages of a comprehensive renovation, scheduled for completion by 2025. The revamped design features a natural, understated aesthetic, incorporating wooden structures, straw umbrellas, and light earthy tones to harmonize with the surrounding environment.

An ultimate beach destination and the perfect place to escape the summer heat

The Varkiza Resort beach complex boasts a range of amenities, including several beach bars, restaurants, a water sports kiosk, beach volleyball courts and an open-air cinema. The area is well-secured with both security personnel and lifeguards on duty. Visitors can choose their preferred section of the beach, whether they prefer a vibrant atmosphere with loud music, a more secluded and peaceful spot, or a family-friendly area near the playground.

The beach itself is sandy with shallow waters, making it ideal for families with children. The gentle slope of the beach into the sea provides a safe and enjoyable environment for kids to play and swim.
